Okay this is my first entry; I will try not to make it my last. I know that may sound funny, but I got a LJ so I could make comments in my favorite authors entries. And to have one of these so cool Icons. I have Friended all of my fav fan-fic writers, so I can stalk them minute by minute. Or at least the ones I know have a LJ. I don't expect any one to Friend me back or any thing that is not why I got one.
So a little about me, I'm 26-years-old. I'm originally a hillbilly, but live in Cleveland now. I'm in my last semester of college. In December, I will get my BS in Photo-Illustration. I'm a unpaid intern right now at a commercial photography Co. (yesterday was my first day). I have a boyfriend (July 25 was our 10-year-aniversory, do the math). He's the only boy I have ever even kissed. I love Photoshop, porn, BBC America, Blues, cheese, indi movies, photography, art history, giving the boyfriend a BJ (I love the little noises he makes), my three kitty cats, Buffy the Vampire Slayer & Ats, Spike, and Fan-fiction.
*the above 'things I love' list is not in any order & I may have left some 'things I love' out.
I absolutely love Buffy fan-fiction. I have been reading Buffy fic since the end of season five. I have been watching the show since the summer of 1997. Although at the beginning of my fan-fic craze, I read any ship or pairing. I soon found myself drawn to Spike/Buffy fiction. So up to season seven, I was a big Spike/Buffy shipper. Now not as much, I still read and love early Buffy/Spike. The reason I fell for Spike/Buffy was that it was simply, wrong. When the characters got together on the show, I was delighted. And turned on with all the nakedness. But I soon realized what I loved bout this ship or any pairing is the wrongness of the two being together. Does that make sense? I've read Herself explain it much better. I like the conflict the two have to go through to get together. I also will read any Spike centered story with any pairing. However, I do tend to lean to Stories rated R or NC-17. I'm a big girl and can take the adult content. I can't say why I love Spike so much. The character appeals to something in me. I don't want to simplify it and say it is the bad boy affect. Someday when I have the time, I will explore the 'why Spike question'.
How much do you love Fanfiction? I save all my favorite stories on a Zip disk.
Guess this is a nice size entry for my first time. As a last note, I got myself a web site also. It houses all my Wallpapers/graphics in owed to Buffy, Spike, & the show. The link is above.
